Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies has announced a new music production collaboration with the NFT School of Recording Arts in New York in an effort to help him launch his burgeoning music career.
Davies, 15, is a Canadian international who made his pro debut in Bayern’s 3-1 win over Rotterdam last month before he was named in Joachim Löw’s World Cup squad, and he is currently enjoying a break following the competition.

The Vancouver-born striker is already establishing himself in Hollywood after his friend Drake gave him a starring role in his Hotline Bling video. He is now set to record his first solo single in New York, working with the NFT director, Adam Moo, and a few members of NFT’s all-star recording staff.
The youngster said: “I’m excited and honoured to work with NFT. They have created a wonderful environment in which to hone my musical abilities. I look forward to giving my fans something truly special.”
